Job summary

IT Alliance in Sydney is seeking a Data Centre Field Infrastructure Engineer to support a Federal Government client and its ICT infrastructure in the field.

The role involves analyzing availability and reliability, coordinating resources, implementing remedies, and documenting work in a government‑tech environment. On-site position based in Sydney with opportunities in critical national infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Analyses service and component availability, reliability, maintainability and serviceability.
• Assists with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures.
• Designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends and refactors simple programs/scripts.
• Designs system components using appropriate modelling techniques following agreed architectures, design standards, patterns and methodology.
• Experience with design and delivery of ICT infrastructure projects, data centre and equivalent spaces.
• Demonstrated experience in coordinating resources and accurate recording of effort.
