Job summary

Paxus is seeking a Data Centre Field Infrastructure Engineer to support the delivery and modernisation of critical ICT and data centre infrastructure in Sydney. The role focuses on planning, installing, maintaining and improving secure, reliable environments across data centre facilities, ICT rooms, networks and power.

You will coordinate technical changes, troubleshoot complex issues and work with project managers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical guidance to project teams and business representatives
• Identifying and implementing service improvements to enhance reliability and security
• Ensuring projects are delivered on schedule
• Collaborating with Project Managers to define and schedule deliverables
• Identifying risks and opportunities for the business
• Supervising and managing staff
• Maintaining project workflows as required
• Leading projects and technical activities
• Providing strategic planning, mapping and modelling development
• Coordinating infrastructure changes
• Leading major incident responses and recovery activities
• Troubleshooting complex technical issues
• Conducting root cause analyses of critical incidents
• Scheduling and managing tasks
• Reviewing and approving technical change activities
