Job summary

CSIRO is seeking an IIS Platforms Facilities Manager to lead the operation, security and continuous improvement of CSIRO's data centre infrastructure. This senior leadership role directs strategic direction, operational excellence and future capability of data centre facilities, including power, cooling, cabling, security and environmental systems.

You will manage a multidisciplinary team, drive service improvements, resilience and vendor partnerships, and translate complex infrastructure

Qualifications

Senior leadership role responsible for data centre facilities and critical infrastructure.
Experience leading large-scale technology infrastructure or facilities operations, with strategic roadmaps.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and technical leadership for data centre and facilities operations.
Evaluate emerging technologies to improve reliability and energy efficiency.
Align operations with IMT strategy and business priorities.
Lead and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary team.
Oversee maintenance, upgrades and lifecycle management of data centre infrastructure.
Coordinate infrastructure projects, budgets, schedules and quality standards.
Lead incident response and emergency management activities.
