Linesight Melbourne is seeking a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to lead pre- and post-contract cost management on data centre projects. You will create cost plans, manage variations, and support settlement of disputes with transparent handling.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in pre- and post-contract cost management on varied projects.
• Degree or comparable experience in cost management or construction.
• Chartered or on path to chartership; company can help.
• Willing to travel for short periods to meet clients and teams.
• Thrive on building strong relationships with your team and clients.

Responsibilities

• Support the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims with transparency
• Resolve commercial, change orders and contract issues quickly and fairly
• Assist in preparing and agreeing final accounts, including handling claims to ensure client value
• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments
• Support nimble project management and cost documentation for timely decisions
• Actively participate in tender/bid process from documentation through reporting
• Oversee project spend by creating valuations and cost reports, communicating variations
