Job summary

CPB Contractors in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Supervisor to join the team delivering a major data centre project. You will coordinate day-to-day site operations, lead trades and subcontractors, and ensure work is safe, on schedule and to a high standard.

Data centre projects are fast-paced environments requiring proactive planning, strong on-site leadership and clear communication to keep progress moving and to meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising construction works.
• Able to manage trades and coordinate multiple fronts.
• Strong on-site communication and leadership.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors, keeping work fronts productive and aligned to programme.
• Maintain a visible presence on site, building strong relationships and addressing issues before they impact delivery.
• Plan ahead, reviewing upcoming works, resource requirements and potential constraints to keep progress on track.
• Monitor the quality of works and finishes, ensuring they meet project standards and client expectations.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and fellow Supervisors to achieve key milestones and project outcomes.
• Champion a positive safety culture, leading by example and ensuring safe work practices are embedded across the site.
• Take ownership of your area, making decisions, solving problems and helping the team deliver their best work every day.
