Job summary

CPB Contractors in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Project Manager (CSA) to drive a multi-megawatt data centre build from start to finish. You will balance time, cost and quality, coordinating supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers to keep the project moving and deliver to a high standard.

You will lead design, procurement and site teams, stay ahead of issues, and make decisions that keep the project on track. This role rewards practical leadership and ownership of outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large construction projects and accountability for outcomes.
• Knowledge of precast, structures or major building packages.
• Ability to build trust with subcontractors, suppliers and project teams.
• Calm, practical approach when plans change or issues arise.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of decision impact.
• Confidence to make decisions when it counts.
• Strong communication skills and ability to bring people with you.

Responsibilities

• Keep a critical part of the project moving and ensure everyone aligns to the same direction.
• Collaborate with supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers to stay ahead of issues.
• Balance programme, cost, quality and delivery without losing sight of priorities.
• Coordinate design, procurement and site teams to maintain smooth operations.
• Conduct necessary conversations when timelines slip or priorities change.
• Make decisions, solve problems and navigate project curveballs.
• Support engineers and site teams while enabling them to perform at their best.
• Turn plans on paper into real outcomes.
