Job summary

CDC Data Centres in NSW seeks a Construction Manager to oversee our data centre construction project on time and within budget at Eastern Creek Campus. You will lead the client-side team, coordinate with the PCBU and subcontractors, and ensure safe, high-quality builds from design through handover.

You bring large-scale project experience, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to risk and safety. Australian Citizenship with NV1 clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing large-scale, complex building projects.
• Experience in critical infrastructure environments like data centres or hospitals.
• Strong leadership, attention to detail, and risk identification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee flow of technical information between engineering disciplines and stakeholders, ensuring specs and standards.
• Manage construction contracts, due diligence and third-party agreements for CDC.
• Report to Head of Construction on progress, budget, procurement, and schedule.
• Provide end-to-end oversight of projects, focusing on value, safety, and quality.
• Identify opportunities to optimise delivery, timelines, or innovation.
• Conduct meetings and maintain regular communication with key stakeholders from design to handover.
• Build partnerships with suppliers and vendors to enhance CDC's capability.
• Contribute to CDC team growth, mentoring junior staff and fostering a positive culture.
• Act as ambassador, leading meetings to ensure engagement and communication.
