Job summary

CDC Data Centres in NSW is seeking a Construction Manager to deliver a major data centre construction project on time and within budget. You will lead a high-performing client-side team at the Eastern Creek Campus, coordinating with the nominated PCBU and subcontractors to ensure high-quality builds.

You will bring proven experience managing large-scale projects in critical infrastructure, with strong leadership, risk management and clear communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing large-scale, complex building projects.
• Experience in critical infrastructure environments like data centres or hospitals.
• Strong leadership and team-mentoring abilities.
• Solid understanding of mechanical/electrical elements, building methods and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee flow of technical information between engineering disciplines and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with specs.
• Manage construction contracts, including due diligence and third-party agreements.
• Report to Head of Construction on progress, budget, procurement and schedules.
• Ensure end-to-end oversight focusing on safety, quality, and value delivery.
• Identify opportunities to optimise delivery timelines or introduce innovations.
