Job summary

CDC Data Centres is seeking a reliable, experienced cleaner for a full-time role based in Fyshwick, Canberra. The position offers hands-on training within a supportive team and no weekend or night shifts.

The cleaner will uphold the pristine appearance of our facilities, support operations, and participate in safety meetings. Applicants must pass a health assessment and may require NV1 security clearance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a health assessment for workplace safety.
• Experience in commercial cleaning or similar roles (e.g., housekeeping, hospitality) is advantageous.
• Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain NV1 Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation inside and outside data centre facilities.
• Regularly inspect site and facilities and promptly report defects.
• Perform office maintenance tasks such as bin emptying, vacuuming and restocking supplies.
• Ensure restroom hygiene including mopping and replenishing supplies.
• Collaborate with Operations, liaise with contractors for routine maintenance, report incidents and participate in HSE meetings.
