Job summary

Google LLC is seeking an Operations Manager for Third Party Data Center operations in Sydney. The role focuses on budget development, procurement, and maintenance agreements for data center systems, with strong emphasis on cost control and vendor management.

You will oversee procurement projects, collaborate with EH&S, and support local technicians while serving as a Finance escalation point. Excellent financial analysis and stakeholder communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in accounting with focus on AP/AR.
• 2 years of experience with ERP software (e.g., SAP, Sage, or Oracle).
• Experience in vendor management.
• Experience in APAC regional tax and administrative.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the technical team to create RFI/ proposals, statements of work, and service agreements.
• Evaluate proposals using a structured decision-making matrix and ensure stakeholder communication.
• Lead annual budget development and provide estimates for operational and capital budgets with variance analysis.
• Review budget requests, propose cost-saving measures, and contribute to financial optimisation.
• Collect and analyse cost data to support management in KPI tracking and strategic planning.
