CBRE Data Center Solutions in Derrimut, Victoria, is offering an Apprentice role to assist in preventive and corrective maintenance within a data center. You’ll gain hands-on experience and foundational knowledge while being mentored by a platform team.

Qualifications

• Completed Year 10/Year 12 and currently enrolled in a 3rd or 4th year college program or technical school
• Australian Citizen with NV1 vetting or detailed Background Check process
• Pursuing Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrical /Air conditioning & Refrigeration
• Able to meet physical requirements (stooping, standing, walking, climbing)
• Willing to work shifts including weekends/holidays
• Ability to learn and grow within the organization

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily site inspections of Mechanical & Electrical systems
• Help maintain safe environmental conditions on site
• Observe and assist with emergency repairs from Building Management System alarms
• Take meter readings from UPS, PDU and utilities during walkthroughs
• Complete required training to fulfill job responsibilities
• Follow established procedures for repetitive tasks
• Maintain maintenance records and documentation
• Support subcontractor performance per Master Service Agreement
• Develop basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
• Contribute to a clean and organized work environment
