Job summary

CBRE Data Center Solutions in Derrimut, Victoria, invites applications for an Apprentice to gain hands-on experience in data center operations and preventive maintenance under an experienced platform team.

In this full-time trainee role you’ll assist with daily inspections of mechanical and electrical systems, monitor environmental conditions, take meter readings, and help maintain maintenance records while you complete required training.

Qualifications

• Completed Year 10/Year 12 and currently enrolled in a 3rd or 4th year college program or technical school

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily site inspections of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering systems and equipment
• Support the team in ensuring the site's environmental conditions provide a safe work environment
• Observe and assist with emergency repairs in response to Building Management System alarms
• Take meter readings from UPS, PDU’s, and utilities during building walkthroughs
• Participate in the completion of all required training to ensure successful job responsibilities
• Follow established procedures in repetitive tasks or activities
• Assist in maintaining comprehensive maintenance records and documentation
• Support the team in ensuring subcontractor performance meets Master Service Agreement requirements
• Develop a basic understanding of Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment
