Joining our operations team means being at the center of everything – maintaining and evolving critical infrastructure that powers the digital world and delivers real impact for our customers, communities and society. You’ll find belonging, purpose, and a team that welcomes you—because when you feel valued, you’re empowered to do your best work.
At Equinix, our Critical Facilities Specialists operate, manage, maintain, and repair critical and non-critical power systems, HVAC, BMS, plumbing, fire control & suppression, and all site services. Our critical facilities specialists also perform all related vendor support in a mission critical environment.
This fast-paced role supports the overall functioning of the data center by focusing on maintaining and improving the facility’s critical infrastructure. This includes all regularly scheduled maintenance and ad hoc repairs/troubleshooting. For this position we are recruiting for an electrical specialist to help balance the team, so a strong understanding and ideally recent hands-on service work in a data center or mission critical environment will be key.
This role will be suitable for an individual with positive attitude who is willing to go beyond a job description and a written process to contribute to the success of our data center operations. As the critical facilities specialist will work in a highly collaborative environment, a team-first mindset will be crucial in navigating through the workdays.
With a busy maintenance schedule coming up we are looking to have the role filled by June or earlier, if possible, this role is due to an internal promotion, so we are willing to interview candidates immediately.
