Job summary

Base pay range

A$150,000.00/yr - A$170,000.00/yr

Data Architect - Health Sector | Sydney

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join a health organisation in Sydney. This role will focus on designing and leading data integration across multiple systems, ensuring robust data governance, integrity, and accessibility to support business and clinical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead data integration and transformation initiatives across multiple systems and platforms.
• Design and maintain data models, pipelines, and frameworks with a strong focus on governance and integrity.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and secure.
• Enable advanced analytics and AI/ML use cases by ensuring the right data foundations are in place.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Data Architect, Senior Data Engineer or similar senior data leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of data transformation, integration, governance, and integrity.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Exposure to healthcare data (desirable but not mandatory).

Experience with one or more of the following:

• SAS (Programming language)
• Power BI (advantageous)
• Salesforce or Veeva CRM (advantageous)
• Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems
