Long Resources Ltd is seeking a Senior Data Analyst on a 6-month contract in NSW, Australia. You will join a data-driven team to drive insights across product and marketing initiatives and influence decision-making.

The role requires deep experience in analytics, advanced SQL, and familiarity with SaaS metrics. You’ll collaborate with multiple stakeholders, build dashboards, and translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years’ experience in analytics or data roles.
• Ability to turn data into clear insights and business recommendations.
• Experience across the SaaS customer lifecycle (acquisition, retention).
• Proven experience designing and analysing experiments.
• Advanced SQL skills (Snowflake, Postgres).
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Databricks, or similar).
• Working knowledge of Python or R (bonus).

• Contract: 6 months initially with a view to a 12-month extension
• Work pattern: Full-time (38 hours/week)

About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join a high-performing Data Science function on a 6-month contract (with potential extension).

You’ll work across multiple teams, partnering with product, marketing, and business stakeholders to drive insights, shape strategy, and influence decision-making.
