Job summary

Exclaim IT is seeking a Senior Data Architect to help shape a government transformation program in Queensland. The role focuses on enterprise data platforms, lakehouse architecture, AI capabilities and secure data sharing across multiple agencies.

You will design Azure-based data solutions, drive governance and standards, and lead architecture workshops to guide the technology roadmap in a hybrid work setup from Brisbane.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Data Architect, AI Architect or Solution Architect.
• Strong Azure data platform and lakehouse architecture experience.
• Knowledge of data governance, security and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Define target-state data, AI and platform architecture.
• Design scalable Azure-based data and lakehouse solutions.
• Establish data governance, security, integration and architecture standards.
