Job summary

SA Water in Adelaide, SA, is seeking a Senior Manager Data, AI & Analytics to shape and deliver enterprise data and AI strategy, governance and information management across the organisation.

You will lead Data Platforms, Data Products, Data & AI Governance and Records & Information Management, partner with executives and the Board, and translate complex concepts into measurable business outcomes while balancing risk, investment and long-term value for customers and communities.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience within data, analytics, AI or related technology functions.
• Experience developing and implementing enterprise-wide data and AI strategies.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
• Experience with senior executives, governance forums and Boards.
• Strong commercial and strategic judgement.
• Collaborative leadership style.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Data Management, Data Science, Information Technology, Business Management or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead SA Water's enterprise Data, AI and Analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities.
• Provide strategic advice to executive leaders and the Board on data, AI, governance, risks and investment opportunities.
• Champion a data-driven and AI-enabled culture across the organisation through strong stakeholder engagement and influence.
• Establish and maintain robust data, AI and information governance frameworks, including oversight of records and information management.
• Lead and develop high-performing teams across Data Platforms, Data Products, Data & AI Governance, and Records & Information Management.
• Drive informed technology and capability investment decisions that deliver long-term value, innovation and business outcomes for SA Water.
