Job summary

SA Water in Adelaide seeks a Senior Manager Cyber Security & Resilience (CISO) to lead enterprise cyber security strategy and resilience in a critical infrastructure environment.

You will report to the CIO, lead governance, risk, compliance, security operations, and incident response, and build a high-performing team with executive-level influence.

This is a 3-year max-term, full-time role with relocation support, offering the chance to shape security for 1.8 million South Australians.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience leading cyber security and risk functions.
• Experience with cyber security governance and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in critical infrastructure or regulated environments.
• NV1 clearance eligibility or ability to obtain.
• Strong stakeholder engagement at executive level.

Responsibilities

• Lead cyber security strategy, roadmap and investment priorities.
• Oversee cyber security operations, threat detection, monitoring and protection.
• Lead preparedness and response activities for incidents and security events.
• Drive governance, risk management and regulatory compliance obligations.
• Build partnerships across the business, executives and external agencies.
• Develop and lead a high performing cyber security team.
