Job summary

The Northern Land Council is seeking multiple Logistics & Customer Service Assistants to support the Darwin Daly Wagait regional team. The role involves safe transport, venue preparation, and assisting constituents at meetings across remote areas.

You will travel, work in remote locations, and perform practical tasks including camping setups, cooking, and equipment packing. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• A valid unrestricted manual driver’s licence and experience driving a 4WD vehicle safely.
• Demonstrated ability to transport people safely to and from meetings.
• The ability to travel and work in remote areas.
• The ability to assist with manual handling, event and camping set-ups, cooking and purchasing equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transport for constituents to and from meetings and events.
• Prepare venues and equipment for meetings and regional activities.
• Deliver meeting notifications and assist stakeholders and participants.
• Buy supplies and assist with event, camping facilities and food service.
• Pack away equipment after events and maintain attendance records.
• Keep venues clean and safe and communicate issues to colleagues.
