Job summary

Bailey Abbott Pty Ltd is seeking a Test Manager to lead quality assurance for a large Darwin-based program. You will manage testing services, ensure comprehensive test plans, and coordinate with project managers and vendors to deliver high-quality project products.

The role requires strategic leadership of both permanent and contract testers, effective communication with stakeholders, and strong experience in test automation and SDLC governance.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience as a Test Manager/Senior Test Lead on a large ICT program.
• Demonstrated ability to lead one or more testing teams delivering services within a program setting.
• Ability to articulate objectives of a quality and testing function to diverse stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of quality/testing management methodologies, techniques and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Improve speed and coverage of testing delivery.
• Own test plans, documentation, cases and outcomes with stakeholders and vendors.
• Lead a team of permanent/contract staff delivering testing services.
• Prioritise test work packages across projects with the team.
• Oversee resource planning and management at project level.
• Address issues that impede testing efforts and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the program.
