K&S Freighters, a Division of the Chemtrans entity, invites applications for an experienced allocator/scheduler to coordinate day-to-day transport operations within the dangerous goods division in Melbourne. The role emphasizes fatigue management, documentation accuracy, and customer-focused service delivery.

The successful candidate will monitor rosters, ensure compliance with fatigue laws, support fleet maintenance, and contribute to safe, efficient operations with on-the-job training

Qualifications

• Experience in transport & logistics operations.
• Proven customer service delivery and excellent communication & leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and problem solve when issues arise.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

Responsabilités

• Complete and monitor all documentation in a timely, accurate manner and in accordance with legal requirements and customer expectations.
• Generate paperwork for daily deliveries including con notes and delivery dockets.
• Monitor rosters and scheduling to meet driver fatigue laws.
• Monitor onsite equipment maintenance and service requirements.
• Allocate resources to operate safely, efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Report delays to customers due to breakdowns or weather conditions to meet requirements.
• Data entry of drivers hours to support BFM accreditation.
• PPE issuing, monitoring and auditing.
• Documentation and investigation of incidents per K&S standards.
• Comply with transport regulations and laws.
• Assist with vehicle servicing and inspections and record actions.
