Job summary

WaterNSW is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor based at Warragamba Dam to lead a trades team and oversee daily maintenance operations. The role emphasizes safety, quality and asset reliability, with opportunities to plan complex works and coordinate across disciplines.

You will provide hands-on leadership to trades and contractors, ensuring work packs, permits and documentation are completed to standard. This is a hybrid role with a strong safety culture at the core.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance leader with experience across industrial, utilities, infrastructure or operational environments.
• Experience supervising multi-disciplinary maintenance teams, ensuring safety and quality.
• Strong planning and coordination skills for complex maintenance activities from scoping to execution.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, manage and mitigate safety, operational and business risks.
• Collaborative communicator with tradespeople, engineers, contractors and stakeholders.
• Electrical trade background (Highly regarded)

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance activities across the Warragamba Dam site, ensuring safety, efficiency and high quality.
• Plan and coordinate complex maintenance works, including work packs, permits, and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide hands-on leadership to tradespeople and contractors, driving accountability and performance.
• Monitor asset condition through site inspections and identify risks and maintenance needs.
• Oversee maintenance documentation, work orders and contractor reports with thorough follow-up.
• Champion a strong safety culture prioritising people, assets and environment.
