WaterNSW invites applications for a Maintenance Officer Trade - Mechnaical (FULL-TIME, Permanent). The role focuses on maintaining water infrastructure assets, dams and river systems, with a strong emphasis on mechanical plant and safety.

You will contribute to preventative maintenance and incident response, ensuring accuracy in CMMS documentation. The position offers a nine-day fortnight, generous parental leave, fertility leave, professional development, and other benefits.

Formación

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering and/or equivalent mechanical trade certification.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance, overhaul, repair and fabrication of metal components in industrial/utilities environments.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills, with ability to interpret drawings and schematics.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and service water infrastructure assets including dams, river systems and mechanical plant.
• Support reliable water delivery by surveying and monitoring water assets.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor capital works, contributing to improvements.
• Respond to emergencies per policies and participate in flood/dam safety operations.
• Document maintenance activities and defects clearly in CMMS.
