Job summary

SRH Milk Haulage in Poowong, VIC is seeking a full-time Vic Linehaul Coordinator to oversee the Poowong operation, coordinate tanker movements, and support drivers to ensure on-time, safe deliveries. This role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with SRH's management and operations team to balance fleet usage, manage linehaul runs, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics, dairy or a similar operational environment.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Able to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.
• Good computer and systems skills.
• Can build relationships with drivers and customers.
• Experience in milk transport, tanker operations or linehaul allocation is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations at the Poowong factory.
• Coordinate tanker movements in and out of the factory.
• Provide operational support to factory staff.
• Plan and allocate daily linehaul runs.
• Coordinate drivers, tankers and available equipment.
• Ensure linehaul movements are completed within customer and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with terminal staff regarding tanker movements and operational issues.
• Monitor milk receivals, collections and deliveries.
• Monitor the progress of linehaul movements throughout the day.
• Communicate changes clearly to drivers and operations.
• Be a key point of contact for Poowong drivers and provide direction during shifts.
• Support a positive safety and workplace culture.
