Job summary

Pace Aust Logistics in Melbourne is seeking a skilled MC Linehaul Driver for refrigerated interstate freight. You will perform pre-start checks, manage temperature settings, and ensure safe load restraints while delivering across VIC/NSW/QLD/WA/SA.

You must hold an MC licence with at least 2 years on B-double combos, bring food logistics experience, and demonstrate safety focus, reliability and professional presentation when dealing with customers.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-start checks on trucks and trailers each shift using Gear Box App
• Deliver and collect interstate loads as allocated by the operations team
• Keep operations informed of any delays in transit
• Check and set the correct temperature for each refrigerated load
• Ensure load restraints are correct before departing and throughout the trip
• Keep trucks and trailers clean and presentable before arriving at customer sites
• Ensure the in-cab fatigue management system is working and report any faults to Operations and Safety immediately
• Comply with all road rules and NHVR requirements, including work and rest hours
• Complete logbooks and work diaries accurately and compliantly
• Manage pallet dockets, proof of delivery and transfer paperwork at all sites

Job description

MC Linehaul Driver - Refrigerated role involves completing pre-start checks on trucks and trailers, delivering and collecting interstate loads as allocated by the operations team, and managing refrigerated freight across Australia. You will check and set correct temperatures for refrigerated loads, ensure load restraints are correct, keep trucks and trailers clean and presentable, manage fatigue systems, comply with all road rules and NHVR requirements, complete logbooks accurately, manage pallet dockets and proof of delivery paperwork, and represent Pace Aust Logistics professionally with customers and colleagues.
