Job summary

Sonata Software is seeking a D365 Technical Support professional for a hybrid role based in Sydney or Melbourne. The position involves hands-on coding, development and test tasks, and assisting the technical lead with code, environments, builds and deployments.

The ideal candidate has a solid D365 Finance and Operations background, strong problem-solving skills, and experience with cloud technologies, Azure DevOps, and Agile/SCRUM.

Qualifications

• Software development background with hands-on D365 Finance and Operations experience.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives end-to-end in a matrix org.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of cloud tech: PAAS, IAAS, ASE, Power BI, Azure SQL.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, code management, deployments.
• Experience working with vendors and ISVs.
• Agile/SCRUM project experience.
• Create and implement automated tests.
• Manage code branches and software deployments.
• Plan, test and execute platform and software upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design / development / test / support activities to deliver prioritized requests
• Hands on coding and delivering of assigned tasks
• Assist Technical lead in the management of Code, Dev Environments, Builds and Deployments
• Ensure prioritized work items are being developed and tested in accordance with the acceptance criteria
• Act as a product / solution evangelist to build awareness and understanding of the platform
