Job summary

Lactalis Australia in Stanhope, Northern Victoria, is seeking a Dairy Operator to join our Manufacturing team. This hands-on role focuses on safe, efficient production and adherence to safety, quality, food safety and environmental standards.

You will operate and monitor equipment, perform routine checks, complete production documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with a driven team committed to excellence across Australia and beyond.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, food processing, dairy or a related industry.

• Sound problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Basic computer skills and experience completing electronic records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain product quality standards and process parameters.
• Identify and respond to process issues using problem-solving techniques.
• Perform cleaning, sanitation and housekeeping activities in line with site standards.
• Support asset care and basic troubleshooting activities.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safe work practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets.
• Maintain compliance with Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements at all times.

About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and safety-focused Dairy Operator to join our Manufacturing team at Stanhope.

Reporting to the Production Leader, you will play an important role in the safe and efficient production of dairy products while maintaining our high standards of safety, quality, food safety and environmental compliance.

This is a hands-on operational role where you will have the opportunity to work across various areas of dairy manufacturing, develop technical skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality products enjoyed by consumers across Australia and around the world.
