Job summary

Lactalis Australia in Sydney's Lidcombe plant is hiring an experienced Production Operator for a full-time role. You will join a global dairy leader and contribute to high standards of safety and quality.

Candidates should be team-oriented, able to work shift work and overtime, with a solid grounding in GMP and HACCP. Familiarity with liquid filling equipment and SAP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience operating liquid filling lines is preferred.
• Solid understanding of GMP and HACCP principles.
• Numeracy and literacy skills with attention to detail.
• Team-oriented with good communication and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor liquid filling lines at the Lidcombe plant with a focus on safety and quality.
• Follow GMP/HACCP procedures and complete quality checks and logs.
• Work across shifts and overtime as required to meet production targets.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to optimise line performance.

About this opportunity:

We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Production Operator for a full-time position at out Lidcombe manufacturing plant. These positions rarely become available with long tenures amongst the team. With all this experience you will quickly learn manufacturing to a very high standard.

About you:

We require a team-oriented and skilled Operator who is:

Self-motivated; able to work shift work and overtime as required

Skills needed:

• Safety and quality focused


• Lateral thinking / troubleshooting skills


• Solid understanding of GMP and HACCP principles


• Numeracy and literacy skills

Preferred:

Previous experience in operating liquid rotary fillers in the food industryisrequired.

SAP system experience will be highly regarded.
