Job summary

Seek in Brisbane seeks an Associate Professor to provide academic leadership across cybersecurity programs, with a focus on the Master of Cybersecurity. This full-time, on-campus role involves teaching, curriculum quality oversight, and guiding the development of new cybersecurity content.

You will supervise content development teams, contribute to course reviews and accreditation, and engage with industry to ensure content stays current with practice.

Qualifications

• PhD in cybersecurity or closely related field.
• Significant postgraduate-level teaching experience.
• Demonstrated curriculum design or course development experience.
• Experience leading or supervising content development teams.

Responsibilities

• Teach and assess units in the Master of Cybersecurity and related business units.
• Review and approve unit content, assessments and learning materials for quality and currency.
• Supervise the content development team in designing and updating cybersecurity units.
• Contribute to course reviews, benchmarking and accreditation activities.
• Support academic integrity, moderation and examination processes.
• Mentor and support teaching staff; participate in governance committees.
• Engage with industry to keep course content aligned with cybersecurity practice.
