University of New South Wales – Canberra invites applications for Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Technical Cyber Security. The appointee will develop scholarly research and contribute to educational excellence, curriculum delivery and leadership within the School of Systems & Computing at UNSW Canberra.

The role involves delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses, short courses and micro-credentials, while supporting diverse students and engaging with industry partners to advance research

Qualifications

• PhD in technical cyber security or closely related discipline.
• Commitment to maintaining current knowledge of developments in the discipline and profession.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching, curriculum design and course delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
• Evidence of teaching effectiveness, educational excellence and curriculum innovation.
• Commitment to supporting and inspiring students from diverse backgrounds, including through inclusive learning and meaningful assessment.
• Demonstrated research excellence and leadership, including HDR supervision where relevant.
• Experience engaging with industry or the profession.
• Highly developed communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scholarly research and professional development.
