Job summary

CyberCX in Sydney is seeking an IT Engineer to own and support customer cloud environments, troubleshooting issues and delivering solutions that keep critical systems online.

You will work with Azure/M365, handle incidents, and apply DevOps practices to maintain high availability, with a focus on customer relationships and proactive problem solving.

The role requires Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain security clearance, with at least 1 year in IT engineering or operations.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or related discipline desirable.
• Microsoft Azure and/or M365 certifications advantageous.
• At least 1 year of IT engineering/operations experience.
• Knowledge in Azure/ Defender/ Purview/ Sentinel or related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Address and resolve incidents and service requests
• Manage and develop relationships with customers, stakeholders and third parties/vendors.
• Manage and monitor all systems ensuring the highest levels of availability
• Take ownership of support requests and releases
• Ensure customers continue to follow the standard process
• Create monthly customer status reporting on the monthly service agreements
• Provision and configure cloud-based resources to manage customer environments
• Be proactive in customer environments, applying skills and technical brilliance
• Apply DevOps processes & methodologies as required

How you will make an impact

Day to day you will:

• Address and resolve incidents and service requests
• Manage and develop relationships with customers, stakeholders and third parties/vendors.
• Manage and monitor all systems ensuring the highest levels of availability
• Take ownership of support request and releases
• Ensure customers continue to follow the standard process
• Create monthly customer status reporting on the monthly service agreements
• Provision and configure cloud-based resources to manage customer environments
• Be proactive in customer environments, applying skills and technical brilliance

Skills & Qualifications

• Able to work autonomously and use initiative to achieve desired outcomes
