Job summary

CyberCX, part of Accenture, is the leading independent cyber security services organisation in Australia and New Zealand. The Cloud Security & Solutions practice is seeking a Security Consultant to deliver high-quality outcomes for enterprise and government customers.

Reporting to the Director, you will work autonomously or with a team to manage cloud security engagements, develop findings and recommendations, and contribute to sales support and capability building across CyberCX.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor-level qualification in cybersecurity, forensics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing diverse information/cybersecurity projects.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud technologies and a general understanding of cloud security principles.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication capabilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving expertise with a proactive and agile approach.
  • Working towards (or holding) major security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or ISO LA/LI.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to deliver cloud security services in line with project scope and standards.
  • Lead standard client engagements or support more complex engagements, managing planning, governance, risk, and delivery requirements.
  • Prepare and present high-quality deliverables, including findings and recommendations reports tailored to customer requirements.
  • Support internal innovation, capability building, and process improvements.
  • Build and foster strong customer relationships, contributing to sales support and marketing initiatives.
  • Actively collaborate across CyberCX to drive value and improve overall customer experiences.

Position Overview CyberCX is seeking a Security Consultant within our Cloud Security & Solutions practice. Reporting to the Director of Cloud Security & Solutions, you will deliver high-quality outcomes and exceed customer expectations, either autonomously or with team support.

How Will You Make an Impact?

You will work closely with our customers to deliver cloud security services aligned with CyberCX standards, industry frameworks, and their specific needs. Your contributions will ensure that customers achieve their goals while improving their cyber resilience.

Day to Day You Will:
