Job summary

CyberCX is seeking a cloud security professional to support clients with AWS security projects and multi-cloud initiatives. You will work with experienced colleagues to deliver security solutions and compliance outcomes for clients across hybrid environments.

The role emphasises hands-on cloud security, documentation, and client-facing workshops, with eligibility for Australian Security Clearance and Australian citizenship preferred.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year experience implementing or supporting cloud services, ideally in a global consulting firm or large tech company.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments and hybrid cloud solutions.
• Understanding of cloud security principles including IAM, encryption, firewalls and best practices.
• Experience with DevSecOps toolchain.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, ECS and EKS.
• Experience scripting with Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Experience working with Unix/Windows workloads.
• Basic networking and cloud connectivity understanding.

Responsibilities

• Deliver AWS security and compliance projects in line with scope, CyberCX standards and industry frameworks.
• Provide subject matter expertise and advice to customers.
• Collaborate with architects to design/implement technical solutions per requirements.
• Author high-quality documentation and reports for stakeholders.
• Facilitate customer meetings and workshops.
• Manage customer expectations and nurture stakeholder relationships.
• Contribute to development of IP and repeatable solutions.

How You Will Make An Impact

Support clients in solving cloud and security challenges alongside experiences team members.

This role is your opportunity to learn core cloud infrastructure and security skills while directly supporting client success.

• Work with our customers to deliver Amazon Web Services (AWS) security and compliance projects in line with the agreed scope, CyberCX standards, and relevant industry standards or frameworks
• Provide the very best subject matter expertise and advice to our customers
• Work through customer specifications and liaise with architects to develop solutions in line with defined requirements - design and/or implement technical solutions
• Author documentation to the highest standard, producing high-quality reports and presentations for customer stakeholders
• Facilitate customer meetings and workshops
• Manage customer expectations, communicate effectively, and develop professional relationships with stakeholders
• Participate in the development of intellectual property and repeatable solutions

Skills & Qualifications

• Understanding of cloud security principles, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), encryption, firewalls, and security best practices.
• Experience with DevSecOps toolchain.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, ECS, and EKS.
• Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Powershell
• Experience working with Unix / Windows workloads.
• Basic understanding of networking and cloud connectivity.

Please note that due to the nature of this role, it is a mandatory requirement that all applicants be eligible to hold an Australian Security Clearance.

You must be anAustralian Citizen to qualify for this clearance.
