Job summary

Snowy Hydro is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Operations Manager to direct daily cyber security operations across IT and OT. You will lead a team of security specialists, incident responders, and analysts, ensuring readiness and driving automation.

In partnership with risk and resilience teams, you will manage major incidents, run tabletop exercises, and provide clear executive updates on security posture to the board. This role offers flexible working arrangements with Snowy Hydro teams.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in a modern SOC or incident response team.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily SOC monitoring capabilities across IT and OT environments.
• Act as Incident Manager during major cyber incidents with executive briefings.
• Drive automation and playbooks to reduce MTTD/MTTR.
• Lead tabletop exercises with risk and resilience teams.
• Oversee MDR/MSSP vendor performance and handoffs.
• Provide executive-level reports and strategic briefs.
