Job summary

Snowy Hydro Pty Ltd in Melbourne seeks an experienced Cyber Security Operations Manager to direct and elevate daily cyber security operations across IT and OT. You will lead a team of security specialists, incident responders, and analysts to ensure readiness and effective incident containment.

In this executive‑level role, you will drive automation, liaison with risk and resilience teams on DR/BCP exercises, and report security metrics to the board.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a modern SOC or incident response team in an enterprise environment.
• Proven ability to manage major cyber security incidents and drive containment and root cause analysis.
• Strong technical background across SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, threat intel and network detection.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily SOC monitoring and incident triage across IT and OT environments.
• Act as Incident Manager during major cyber security incidents with executive briefings.
• Lead detection logic optimisation, threat intel integration, and automated playbooks.
• Coordinate with Risk and Governance on BCP/DR tabletop exercises.
