Paxus is seeking a hands-on Cyber Security Engineer to join a major public sector program in Brisbane CBD on a 12-month contract. You will design, implement and operationalise security controls across multiple domains and collaborate with security architects, infrastructure teams and vendors to strengthen enterprise security.

• Experience in cyber security within a complex enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience implementing, configuring and supporting security technologies.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and technical documentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Design, configure, implement and support cyber security solutions across IAM, network, endpoint, cloud security, data protection and monitoring.
• Contribute to cyber uplift initiatives and security ICT projects.
• Provide technical advice and recommendations to project teams and business stakeholders.
• Perform security platform integration, troubleshooting, testing, validation and remediation.
• Develop solution designs, implementation plans, technical documentation and procedures.
• Support operational readiness, service transition and knowledge transfer.
• Assist with security-focused design reviews, control assessments and vendor evaluations.
