Job summary

Professional Recruitment Australia – Sydney NSW is seeking a Senior Security Awareness Specialist to join its cyber security function in a large ASX-listed consumer business. You’ll design and deliver engaging awareness programs and drive culture across a complex enterprise.

You’ll work on campaigns, training, and leadership engagement to influence secure behaviours, partnering with IT, development, and communications teams to embed security into the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in organisational learning and change management, with training programs for diverse audiences.
• 3+ years of experience in IT or cyber security roles, with a solid grasp of core security concepts, cloud and web architectures.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, able to translate security concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong stakeholder skills, with the ability to build relationships, negotiate and influence at all levels.
• Project management experience, comfortable planning and running a complex, ongoing program and reporting on metrics.

What you'll bring

• Exceptional written and verbal communication, able to translate security concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong stakeholder skills, with the ability to build relationships, negotiate and influence at all levels
• Project management experience, comfortable planning and running a complex, ongoing program and reporting on metrics

Nice to have: familiarity with application development processes, and knowledge of frameworks such as NIST and CIS.
