Job summary

A Sydney-based organisation is expanding its cyber security architecture capability to cover both IT and OT environments. You will shape security architecture practice from the ground up, influencing design across corporate IT and the operational technology space while engaging with international sites.

You will develop and maintain the architecture framework, define standards and patterns, assess risk, and embed controls into technology initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing secure IT and OT environments.
• Strong understanding of cyber security architecture, risk management and governance.
• Experience assessing security risk and embedding controls into technology solutions.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders across technical and operational environments.
• Relevant qualifications in Cyber Security, Information Technology or a related discipline.

Cyber Security Architect (IT & OT)

Location: Sydney based, with travel to operational sites internationally

About the opportunity Join a large, multi-site organisation as it builds out a mature cyber security architecture capability spanning both corporate IT and operational technology (OT) environments. This is a rare opportunity to shape security architecture practice from the ground up across two very different technology worlds, corporate systems and the operational environments that keep the business running.

Reporting to the Enterprise Architecture Lead and working closely with the Group Manager Cyber Security, you’ll have genuine influence over long-term technology strategy rather than sitting purely in a design-review or governance function.
