Ethos BeathChapman is recruiting a Cyber Security Analyst for a prominent Australian organisation embarking on a significant security uplift program. This is a chance to join a growing security function and play a central role in strengthening enterprise cyber resilience.

Only Australian citizens can be considered due to security requirements. You will oversee SOC operations, lead vulnerability management, and develop policies, standards and system security documentation across the enterprise.

Formación

• 5+ years in cyber security analysis or similar.
• Strong knowledge of Essential Eight, PSPF and ISM.
• Experience delivering uplift, GRC and remediation activities.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications.
• Industry certifications (Security+, GIAC, CISSP, CISM) beneficial.
• Experience with enterprise security tools and MSPs preferred.
• Australian citizenship required.

Responsabilidades

• Drive security uplift activities and translate assessment findings into practical remediation.
• Oversee SOC operations and incident response processes.
• Lead vulnerability scanning, coordination of penetration testing and patch management.
• Develop policies, standards, procedures and system security documentation.
• Conduct risk assessments and maintain SRMPs.
• Support audit and compliance activities aligned to Essential Eight, PSPF and ISM.
• Provide technical guidance on secure configurations, hardening and access control.
• Prepare clear reporting for governance forums.
• Support security awareness and capability uplift across the organisation.
