Job summary

Teamified is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to monitor and triage security events from SIEM and other tools across diverse environments. You will investigate incidents, provide initial analysis, and implement containment actions for rapid resolution.

You will maintain and tune platforms, contribute to robust detection playbooks, and collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver expert security analysis and actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of threat actor behaviour and the attack lifecycle.
• Broad understanding of networking, infrastructure, and operating systems.
• Highly organised and able to prioritise under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and triage alerts quickly to reduce MTTR.
• Monitor customer environments proactively to improve detections.
• Tune and build alerting rules to minimise false positives.
• Create clear documentation and playbooks to accelerate response workflows.
• Engage with customers and manage escalations to improve satisfaction.
• Automate repetitive alert handling to increase efficiency.
• Implement AI/ML solutions to lower MTTD and MTTR.
• Continuously refine detection and automation models for reliable outcomes.
