Maitland City Council is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to protect systems, information and data from threats. You will monitor security alerts, support incident response, conduct vulnerability assessments, and help implement cyber security controls across multiple platforms.

As our Cyber Security Analyst, you will play an important role in protecting Council's systems, information and data from internal and external threats.
Working across multiple platforms and with stakeholders throughout the organisation, you will monitor security alerts, support incident response, undertake vulnerability and risk assessments, and assist with the implementation and improvement of Council's cyber security controls.
You will also contribute to security audits, technical documentation and incident response planning, while helping to build a cyber security conscious culture through staff education, phishing simulations and targeted communications.
To be successful in this role, you will hold a degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security or a related discipline, or have an equivalent combination of relevant experience and training.

This is a full-time, permanent role working a 35-hour week, with a base salary range of $94,812 to $105,241 per year + 12% super.
