Job summary

Telstra Corporation is seeking a Cyber Product Owner in Australia (flexible arrangement) to shape how cyber security is adopted across a large enterprise. You will partner across Cyber, Technology, Risk and the broader business to reduce delivery friction and translate cyber strategy into practical outcomes.

You will lead the evolution of the Security Advisor function, drive secure practices, and develop playbooks, templates and self-service guidance to uplift cyber capability at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution of the Security Advisor function into a cyber adoption and enablement capability.
• Drive the adoption of secure practices, reusable patterns, guardrails, playbooks and self-service guidance.
• Partner with business and technology teams to encourage early cyber engagement and support secure delivery.
• Improve the clarity, accessibility and consistency of cyber guidance and engagement pathways.
• Identify adoption barriers and recurring pain points, and use stakeholder feedback to inform improvements.
• Develop practical guidance, templates, decision aids and communications that uplift cyber capability.
• Establish adoption measures and provide reporting and insights to support continuous improvement.
