Job summary

Pipe Management Australia seeks an experienced Cutter Operator to join our Relining team on the Gold Coast. You will operate robotic pipe cutting equipment, inspect pipelines with CCTV, and plan safe, efficient maintenance work with our medicals team.

The role supports fellow operators and supervisors in a safety-first environment. We value practical problem-solving, a mechanically minded approach, and the ability to work independently or within a team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience operating robotic pipe cutting equipment.
• Mechanically minded mindset with problem solving skills.
• Experience within the sewer, stormwater or pipeline maintenance industries.
• A current Construction Industry White Card.
• A strong commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work additional hours and undertake occasional away work.

Responsibilities

• Operating robotic pipe cutting equipment to complete pipeline maintenance works.
• Using CCTV equipment to inspect pipes and assist with cutting activities.
• Assessing site and pipeline conditions to plan and complete work safely.
• Carrying out equipment checks, basic maintenance and reporting faults.
• Maintaining accurate records of completed works.
• Working closely with operators, offsiders and supervisors.
• Supporting and developing offsiders where required.
• Following company procedures, safety requirements and client specifications.

We are seeking experienced Cutter Operators to join our Relining team to work as part of our Gold Coast Team.

This opportunity will suit someone with practical experience operating robotic pipe cutting equipment within the sewer, stormwater or pipeline maintenance industries, who takes pride in their work whilst always puts safety first.

Our work is generally Monday to Friday, with flexibility required for occasional night works, weekends, emergency callouts and away work, depending on operational requirements.

Working alongside our teams, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating robotic pipe cutting equipment to complete pipeline maintenance works.
• Using CCTV equipment to inspect pipes and assist with cutting activities.
• Assessing site and pipeline conditions to plan and complete work safely.
