Rangedale Vic Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Relining Operations Manager to lead rehabilitation and renewals across Melbourne depots, with regional travel. You will manage Supervisors and crews, ensure safe, on-time and profitable delivery, and provide operational input to tenders and project methodologies.

The role requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and extensive experience in UV CIPP relining or similar trenchless rehabilitation, with readiness to travel regionally.

With 360+ highly skilled personnel and a fleet of 350+ vehicles, Rangedale provides pipe relining & rehabilitation services, non-destructive digging, asset location, drain cleaning, bulk liquid transport and civil works across VIC, QLD, and SA.

Rangedale is accelerating its growth in underground infrastructure rehabilitation and renewals, with a steady pipeline of stormwater, sewer and pipe relining projects nationwide, including work on Major Infrastructure Projects and Government Contracts.

To support our continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced Relining Operations Manager to lead the delivery of our Rehabilitation and Renewals works from our Altona North and/or Dandenong South depots in Melbourne. Our current pipeline of works includes projects across Victoria, and South East & Central Queensland, so whilst this role is Melbourne based, some interstate and regional travel can be expected.

This is a leadership role with real ownership. You will be accountable for the safe, on-time and profitable delivery of our relining program, leading our Supervisors, Coordinators and specialised UV Cured-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP) relining crews from planning and mobilisation through to completion and handover.

What you’ll be doing

Leading, mentoring and developing our relining Supervisors, Coordinators and crews, and building a high-performing, flexible team

Planning and scheduling crews, plant and materials across multiple concurrent projects, including regional and interstate mobilisations

Working with our Supervisors and Project Engineers ahead of mobilisation on scope, methodology, sequencing and resourcing, so projects are set up to run safely and smoothly from day one

Driving Safety, Quality and Environmental performance on every site and leading by example

Managing project budgets, productivity, costs and variations to deliver works on programme and on margin

Being a key point of contact for our clients, including Tier 1 contractors, councils, water authorities and government agencies

Providing operational and technical input into tenders, estimates and project methodology

Overseeing the readiness and maintenance of our relining plant and equipment

Identifying and delivering continuous improvement across our relining operations

What we’re looking for

An accomplished operations leader with proven experience managing pipe relining, trenchless rehabilitation or similar civil infrastructure works

Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop Supervisors and field crews across multiple sites

Commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets, productivity, costs and variations

Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to adapt when site conditions or priorities change

Confident communicator who builds strong relationships with clients, crews and internal stakeholders

Strong commitment to Safety, Quality and Environmental compliance

A positive, hard-working attitude and a willingness to lead by example

Strong working knowledge of UV CIPP relining and other pipeline rehabilitation methods

Willingness to travel regionally and interstate as required
