Job summary

MyFreightCareer, in partnership with DHL, offers ambitious graduates a structured pathway into International Freight Forwarding and Customs Brokerage. You’ll study for a Certificate III while gaining hands-on experience with a global leader in logistics and earning while you learn.

Over 15–18 months, you’ll progress through practical on-the-job training, complete industry-recognised qualifications, and position yourself for a long-term career in a high-demand sector with international

Qualifications

• Australian Citizenship or permanent resident status (implied by program eligibility).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and autonomously.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced industry.
• Basic keyboard and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn Freight Forwarding and Customs Brokerage with DHL.
• Complete Certificate III in International Freight Forwarding.
• Progress to Diploma in Customs Brokerage after initial training.
• Receive on-the-job coaching and structured mentoring.

How It Works:

Upon starting, you will be working with DHL learning about and working in the Freight Forwarding Industry. Over 15 months you will be completing a Certificate 3 in International Freight Forwarding while gaining hands-on experience from industry professionals.

After completion, you will advance into the 15–18 month Diploma in Customs Brokerage.

Skills and Requirements:

• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Focused and attentive with an eye for detail.
• Ability to Problem Solve.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound keyboard and basic computer skills.
• Willingness to Learn.
• Works well within a team and autonomously.

Preferred but not essential:

• Completion of Diploma or bachelor’s degree.
• Driver's Licence.
