Job summary

Metro South Health in Brisbane is seeking a Customer Support Officer to be the friendly first point of contact for our community health services, providing high-quality administrative support to patients, clinicians and teams.

You'll manage reception and telephone enquiries, assist with appointments, data entry and a range of clerical tasks, while maintaining confidentiality and a person-centred approach in a busy, patient-focused environment.

Your New Role

As a Customer Support Officer, you'll be an integral part of our Community and Oral Health Services team, providing high-quality customer service and administrative support to patients, visitors, clinicians and multidisciplinary teams. You'll be one of the first points of contact for our services, helping people navigate their experience with empathy, professionalism and a person-centred approach.

You'll work across a variety of administrative functions, balancing competing priorities while helping our clinical teams deliver efficient and responsive services.

  • Provide friendly, professional customer service across reception and telephone enquiries.
  • Act as a key point of contact for patients, visitors and staff, providing accurate information and assistance.
  • Support multidisciplinary clinical teams with appointments, bookings, data entry and administrative tasks.
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to supervisors and clinical teams.
