Responsibilities

  • Assist with frontline customer service, reception and telephone enquiries.
  • Process basic financial transactions and cash handling under supervision.
  • Respond to customer requests, enquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Record and action customer requests using internal systems.
  • Provide general administrative support including data entry, record keeping and file maintenance.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and support other operational teams as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Participate fully in training and successfully complete a Certificate III in Business.

Kick‑start your career in customer service and business administration with this hands‑on traineeship opportunity. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain real workplace experience while working toward aCertificate III in Business, supported by on‑the‑job training, mentoring and study.

About the role

As aCustomer Service Officer – Trainee, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers, delivering professional, friendly and accurate service both in person and over the phone. You’ll support day‑to‑day reception, administrative and basic financial tasks, while learning how a large, customer‑focused organisation operates. This role requires someone who is comfortable and confident engaging with the public, both face-to-face and over the phone.
