Job summary

HCF Maroochydore is looking for a Branch Member Consultant to help members navigate health insurance options and make informed decisions that suit their needs. You will be the friendly face of Australia’s largest not-for-profit health fund, delivering tailored guidance in person.

The role emphasizes building relationships, meeting individual and team targets, and contributing to a supportive, collaborative branch team environment. Training and ongoing coaching are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service / sales.
• Must be able to build genuine relationships with members.
• Ability to understand member needs and recommend solutions.

• Build genuine relationships with new and existing members, understanding their individual needs and priorities.
• Deliver exceptional face-to-face service, creating positive and memorable member experiences.
• Identify sales opportunities and work towards individual and team targets while helping members get the most from their cover.
• Respond to member enquiries, resolve issues and provide helpful, solutions-focused support.
• Collaborate with your branch team to achieve shared goals while maintaining accurate membership records and following HCF procedures.

As a Branch Member Consultant at HCF, you'll be the face of Australia's largest Not-For-Profit Health Fund, helping our members make informed healthcare choices that genuinely make a difference.

Through meaningful conversations and a needs-based approach to selling, you'll build genuine relationships, understand what matters most to our members and recommend tailored health insurance solutions that suit their needs.

You'll be part of a supportive, collaborative team where you can grow your sales and customer service skills, achieve your goals and make a real impact on members lives.

Location & Hours

This full time position is based in our HCF Maroochydore Branch. The hours for this role are Monday to Friday from 8:45am to 5pm - no weekends!

Flexibility

We offer one Family & Friends day and 3 additional flexible leave days each year, giving you more freedom to recharge, manage personal commitments, and maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Training

We'll set you up for success from day one! You'll receive one week of training at our Sydney CBD Head Office (commencing 30th November) with all required travel and accommodation costs covered by HCF.

You'll also receive ongoing coaching and support to help you build confidence, develop your skills and thrive in your new role.
