Department of Customer Service in NSW is seeking a Customer Service Representative for Eden and Bega Service Centres on a part-time contract (20 hours per week). You will help customers access essential government services, answer enquiries, and provide accurate information with a friendly, solution-oriented approach.
This role involves both face-to-face and phone support, working Monday to Friday, with a minimum four hours per shift.
NSW Clerk Grade 3/4- starting annual salary $74,118 plus superannuation and leave loading

In some regional or remote areas, a ‘hub’ Service Centre acts as the parent of one or more ‘spoke’ Service Centre locations. The hub and spoke models share a leadership team and operate in such a way that team members will be required to work between locations. Eden Service Centre is the spoke site of Bega Service Centre.

As a key member of our Service Centre team, you'll be the first point of contact for many customers seeking information, support and services. Through a combination of face-to-face interactions and phone-based enquiries, you'll provide professional, respectful and customer-focused assistance that helps people achieve the best possible outcomes. Your work will contribute to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment where customers feel heard, supported and valued, while helping deliver important services to the local community.

In our Service Centres hours vary between locations. You can check the opening hours for each Service Centre here. Flexibility is required to work on a rotating roster between the Service Centre’s operational hours which may include Saturdays.
6:30am – 7:30pm (Monday to Friday) and 7:30am - 3:30pm (Saturdays). In some situations, you may be required to work during these hours.
Part-time – minimum 20 hours per week - (Monday to Friday) Full-time – 70 hours per fortnight
Hours are also subject to change based on the needs of the business.
