Job summary

Greenstock Nurseries in Queensland is seeking a well-organised, friendly sales team member with an interest in horticulture. You will coordinate supply and delivery of plants to client projects, manage forward orders and quotations, and liaise with production, dispatch and administration to ensure stock availability.

You should have strong customer and communication skills, the ability to multitask under pressure, and a professional, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Sound plant knowledge preferred but not essential.
• Courteous, punctual, follow direction and procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
• Build trust and create productive relationships with clients.

Greenstock Nursery is a leading grower and supplier of plants throughout Queensland & interstate.We supply plants to various industries including landscapers, construction, retail and re-vegetation customers.

We are seeking a well-organised, friendly, experienced person to join our sales team. If you have an interest in horticulture or plants and have good customer/computer skills we would be keen to speak with you about what your day would look like at Greenstock.

Duties include:

• Organise supply and delivery of plants to client projects
• Manage forward orders
• Quotation of projects as required
• Liaising with production, dispatch and administration teams as required to ensure stock availability
• Servicing customers via email and phone as required
• Researching plant availability

The successful candidate will require the following attributes:

• Sound plant knowledge, beneficial but not essential
• Courteous, punctual, follow direction and procedures
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Project a professional image and positive attitude
• Sound interpersonal and communication skills

Advantageous but not essential:

• Tertiary certificate, degree or diploma in Horticulture
